The Alexandria Police Department is holding an open forum to explain the portable recording devices they are considering for use throughout the department. Discussion and public input will be taken on August 20 at 6:00 PM at the Alexandria Police Department, 501 3rd Ave West.
After all discussion and input is gathered on this policy and system from the August 20 meeting, the Alexandria City Council will be presented the information at the August 27 City Council meeting starting at 7:00 PM at Alexandria City Hall, 704 Broadway. Public comment will also be taken at this meeting.
