Park ice is not thick enough for recreation

Alexandria, MN, November 27, 2018– Please heed the warnings on local lakes not being thick enough for certain activities.  At Noonan’s Park, in central Alexandria, the hockey boards and equipment take a full foot of ice.  When the ice is thick enough, the hockey boards will be put in place and will be ready for action.  Until then, please refrain from going out on the Noonan’s Park pond.
